This cottage is beautiful. So cosy and comfortable, it is beautifully decorated and finished to a very high standard. We would recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a coastal getaway.

We were very glad to find this cottage. The sea view is fantastic and we saw many dolphins.

Lynn and Phil, November 2017

Had a fantastic relaxing week in your lovely cottage. Beautifully presented and a view to die for!

What a great cottage! Everything you can think of is provided and it was spotless. Loved sitting in the window seat watching the world go by- even saw the dolphins twice.

We have had a fantastic two week stay at Sailmakers Cottage. First class accommodation and superb views and both Sunday mornings we saw the dolphins swim by.

Debbie and David, Surrey August 2017

We were all ‘wowed’ from the first moment we stepped into Sailmakers and then we climbed the stairs and what a view! Sailmakers is beautifully decorated and equipped with everything to make you feel at home.

Rachele and Kenny, May 2017

We loved it so much here we decided to return! The dolphins have been very active this week and the highlight was going out in a boat and catching fish – so much fun. We have had a wonderful time here and aye we’ll be back!

Sailmakers Cottage – what a find!! The cottage is beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, warm and cosy. It’s a very peaceful and tranquil place for a holiday. Stunning views from the window seat overlooking the Moray Firth.

Sabine and Jochen, Germany 2017

Thank you so much for this lovely cottage. No need for the TV since we spent hours looking out of the window – what an amazing view (we were lucky to see the Moray Firth dolphins).

Definitely the best self-catering I have stayed in! Very nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The view from “that” window is amazing, our 8 year old spent ages watching the ships go past. Portknockie is also a lovely place to stay, very peaceful and a good base to explore the area.
